The company
Star Materials Solutions is a Hong Kong institution, the self-styled global industrial-diamond experts. For decades its founding team has supplied synthetic diamond and saw-grit products to cutting and processing customers from Western Europe to the Far East, built on a reputation for ISO-certified quality and full data transparency.
What we did
For more than a decade we have been their product and technology partner, effectively a fractional tech and design team for the business. We designed and then rebuilt their website twice over as the business grew, and created a fully automated certification system that digitised their entire certification process end to end. What was once manual paperwork became instant, auditable certificates that both their team and their customers can rely on. Alongside the platform, we support their online visibility and have produced design work for their brochures and catalogues.
The outcome
A modern digital backbone for a long-established materials business: a faster, paperless certification process, a stronger presence online, and a partnership we keep building on, with further revamps already on the horizon.
