The problem
Bringing a new plant-based food to market is slow, expensive, and full of dead ends. Makers juggle ingredient sourcing, endless physical prototyping to get taste and texture right, and the hunt for a co-manufacturer who can actually produce it. Each round of trial and error costs time and money, and most of the work happens before anyone even knows whether the product will taste good.
What we did
PlantLink centralises plant-based product development in one place. It combines a marketplace of sustainable ingredients, an AI virtual sensory lab that simulates taste and texture before a single physical batch is made, and connections to co-manufacturers ready to produce at scale. By predicting how a formulation will perform up front, makers can skip much of the costly prototyping and refine recipes in software first.
The outcome
A faster, cheaper path from idea to shelf for plant-based products, helping makers test and refine formulations long before they commit to a physical run.
