The problem
Due diligence costs firms thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on any single deal. Lower- and mid-market acquisitions need it just as much but rarely have the manpower to do it properly, which leads to costly mistakes on both sides and deals that fall through.
What we did
We helped build MapleDiligence, an automated due-diligence platform for mid-market e-commerce. By connecting directly to a selling company’s digital assets, from accounting and revenue to visitor traffic, it gives buyers and sellers real-time data and AI-powered predictive analytics in place of weeks of manual work. A proprietary scoring model combines AI and market research to flag value-add businesses, so acquirers can identify the right targets quickly.
The outcome
A faster, lower-cost route through due diligence for an e-commerce M&A market measured in the trillions, taking a heavily manual process and automating it end to end.
