The problem
Canada’s housing crisis is at an all-time high, with ownership increasingly out of reach and rent consuming a large share of monthly income, leaving little room for savings. Newcomers, young professionals and families struggle to find affordable, well-matched housing. Property owners, meanwhile, lack a unified system to manage properties, expenses and tenants efficiently.
What we did
We helped build HabiLink, an AI-powered platform that reinvents how Canadians rent, own and manage property. A fractional ownership model lets people buy into properties at lower cost and build equity over time, while AI matching pairs home seekers with properties based on affordability, lifestyle and financial eligibility. Owners and investors track rental income, expenses, maintenance and performance in one place, with predictive expense tracking that flags unusual trends early. A rent-to-own pathway lets tenants gradually accumulate ownership of the home they live in. It earns through transaction fees, subscription plans for landlords and managers, and premium listings.
The outcome
We turn a housing platform into a financial mobility tool, giving Canadians a clearer route from renting toward ownership and wealth.
