The problem
Most freelancers struggle to build a steady pipeline of work, and the ones who do find it slow and awkward to actually close a deal. On the other side, an employer can spend more than two weeks trying to source a suitable, available freelancer, and once they are ready to hire, the paperwork becomes its own hassle.
What we did
We helped build FreeHunter, a directory of local freelance talent available for hire on a gig basis, with the whole closing process built in. A short wizard works out how a freelancer should present themselves, pre-optimised proposal templates and cover-letter drafts speed up bids, and a rate calculator suggests a sensible range from experience and local averages. Contracts, payment terms, and a resource library for legal and tax questions all sit inside the platform, so going from first contact to signed work is quick for both sides.
The outcome
A local talent marketplace covering photographers, videographers, web and app developers, musicians, and trades, turning a slow, paperwork-heavy hiring process into a streamlined one.
