The problem
Wildfires are getting bigger and more destructive, and Canada is among the countries hardest hit. Each season costs billions and puts communities and ecosystems at risk, yet the data that could warn people early is scattered and slow to turn into action.
What we did
ForestGuard is a next-generation forest-protection platform. It pulls together satellite imagery, environmental data, and social listening, then applies neural networks to spot patterns, model fire behaviour, and forecast risk. Geospatial mapping and community-sourced data turn raw signals into clear, actionable insight, so authorities and communities can act before a fire takes hold.
The outcome
A way to monitor and mitigate wildfire risk across Canada’s forests, turning fragmented environmental data into early warning.
